About Us
The Swansea Charity Partnership was formed in 2006 to promote the need in our community for the services of the member charities and to strengthen support for those services, especially through regular tax effective giving.
Most of our work is dependent on time-limited grant funding. If the grant funding is no longer available, our services are reduced or discontinued. Our purpose in joining together is to increase our independent income to support our work whenever it is needed.
The Partnership has also established a fund called Don-8 Swansea that will help other local voluntary organisations working in Swansea. This fund will receive one eighth of the donations we receive and will be administered by the Swansea Council for Voluntary Service.
