Swansea Charity Partnership (Registered Charity 1136066) is a group of local charities that joined together in 2006 to raise awareness of need in the South Wales community of the City and County of Swansea, to promote their services in meeting that need and to develop support from individual donors and local businesses, especially through regular tax effective giving and volunteering.
Each year over 20,000 people in our community benefit from our services but many of our services are dependent on time-limited grant funding. If the grant funding is no longer available, our services are reduced or discontinued. Our purpose in joining together is to increase our independent income to support our work whenever it is needed.
Each of the member charities receives an equal share of the funds we raise and we set aside a portion of donations received to help small local voluntary groups.
