Swansea Women’s Aid provides support and information to women and children who have experience of domestic abuse, past or present. Our workers have specialist knowledge on issues relating to domestic abuse and how it can affect the lives of women and children.
We offer:
- Direct access refuge accommodation for five families
- Safe House accommodation for three families
- Resettlement Project
- Tenancy support
- Outreach project – support and information for women living in the community
- Independent Domestic Violence Advocate – support for women through the court and personal safety planning
- Specialist support for children in refuge and in the community
- Information on a range of issues including legal protection, welfare benefits and housing
